Global-Mix® can be used to optimize a variety of models.   A typical model is illustrated below.  in this example, Global-Mix® may be used to evaluate the most cost effective source of ingredients for a number of different plants -

Using the above model, the different costs of haulage between each supplier and plant may be incorporated into the evaluation to decide which ingredients are most valuable at which production plant.
