Tracer™
Store Complete Recipe Information

Increasing legislation and quality assurance requirements mean that it is essential that full traceability of formulation data is available. Format International have responded to this need by developing the Tracer™ module as part of the New Century™ range of programs.

Tracer™ is designed to store a complete set of data that was used to produce a set of formulae. These scenarios include formulations, their corresponding specifications and the raw materials used in the formulations.

An example of the user-friendly way in which Tracer™ works is shown to the right. The screen illustrates a list of scenarios. By clicking on the version number of a scenario, its details are displayed and may be further investigated –

Tracer ™ features

  • Storage of a “snapshot” of data leading to a new set of formulae, known as a scenario – recipes, specifications, raw materials.

  • Additional associated data may also be stored – product labels/tags and Bio-Security templates.

  • Full traceability, including ability to recall the scenario into the active formulation files for further investigation.

  • User-friendly, interactive, click-and-see facilities in all areas.

  • Single or multiple plant configurations available.

  • Fully integrated with other Format International modules such as Single-Mix® and Integra-Mix™ optimization modules, and Smart Label™ product labeling module.
  • Scenarios, and data contained within each scenario, are  individually identified by a version number.

  • Formulation version numbering occurs independently of scenario version numbering to keep a continuous record. Version numbering may be set according to the user’s preference. Date-linked, incremental or manual versions are all available.

  • Variations of standard formulations, for example with drug additions, are also stored. These “Shadow Formulae” may be automatically generated when a new scenario is created.

  • Includes standard interfaces for transfer of formulae to production.
